Olive Dağar & Copper
Olive Dağar Jar, II
DA-0902 · Southeastern Anatolia
Tapering to a narrower base, this broad brown olive dağar jar from southeastern Anatolia carries rope-like bands around its body. The clay is a deep, even brown, and the shape suggests a vessel built to hold a great deal. As a garden or lobby piece, it works best given space, on a terrace corner, at the foot of a staircase or in an entrance hall. Olive Dağar Jar II is sold as a single piece, shipped with care.
